Products and Services
Electrical contracting and auto electrical services for all marine and industrial installations and equipment up
to 1000 volt.
Capability to provide services to all vessels from recreational trailer boat to Australian Defence Vessels.
All aspects of AC and DC electrical fault diagnosis including industrial electrical, auto electrical, hydraulics,
repairs and new installations. From design to operation. Equipment installs for vessels in the domestic
commercial vessel class (DCV) include – auto pilots, navigational equipment such as GPS, multi-function
displays, transducers, sounders, RADAR, AIS, pumps, trim tabs, lights, batteries including management panels
and charging facilities, switch panels, DC outlets, solar panels and regulators, stereo systems, communication

Electronic installations and vessel NMEA 2000/0183 device networking. Capable of all brands of electronic
Paperless systems are routine for Frontier Marine Services making for immediate transfer of information
when and where it is required. Access to current, relevant information is key to speedy fault finding and task
resolution. Utilisation of job management program Service M8 supports attachments that can be instantly
added to any job by any staff member. This means that manuals, diagrams, photographs etc. can be added to
a specific job and shared amongst all technicians and office staff. This Live Support enables resources at the
touch of a button.
Repairs can be conducted, depending on the scope, either at the workshop, on the water, or at your place of
business. Common consumables and cabling suitable for most tasks are carried in each service vehicle.

Long held accounts with trusted suppliers who understand the requirements of the Marine Industry allow
Frontier Marine Services reliable access to quality parts and equipment (sourced locally whenever possible) to
complete tasks as required. These established partnerships have proved, over time, to understand the
dynamic nature of the marine industry and the confined time frames of vessels needing to be returned to safe
functioning on the water.
Frontier Marine Services Insurance is managed by Lockton Companies Perth. Policies include Marine and
General Liability covering Public Liability $20 million and Products Liability $20 million, Workers
Compensation, Commercial Motor Vehicle, Commercial Vessel and Marine Cargo. Professional Indemnity is
provided through AIG Australia $20 million.
Frontier Marine Services is managed by David Pears, Operations Manager and Leanne Pears, Administration
Manager. Frontier Marine Services employ a full-time team of 6 staff members including qualified A Grade
Electricians, Auto Electricians, Ships Master, and Apprentice. Frontier Marine Services also have access to a
pool of trusted and proven Trade Assistants, Auto Electricians and Electrical Sub-Contractors who are able to
be employed, if and when needed, to complete projects in a timely manner outside the standard scope of work
ensuring time commitments are met.
Seamless access to Larrakia Naval Base is an asset to Frontier Marine Services with staff members holding
both DCAC and Thales Induction Cards. Staff also hold Darwin Port Passes as well as Darwin Marine Supply
Frontier Marine Services maintain a fleet of fully equipped, reliable service vehicles. This ensures staff
punctuality and guarantees minimum loss of time during allocated tasks. Frontier Marine Services are able to
provide essential on water repairs and support with 2 commercial vessels. MV Mary is a tough versatile
trailered Polycraft runabout surveyed for 7 passengers and 1 crew member. MV Lucky is a 4.2m Renegade with
50hp tiller steer able to cater for 4 passengers and 1 crew member.
